Which I immediately went to root so that I can uninstall pre-installed apps such as Facebook and Lets Golf since I won't use them and they're just taking up space. Still looking at what kind of apps I can remove because that's....what I normally do when I receive new, shiny gadgets.
My experience with the Arc S is...well. So far so good? Compared with the iPad that we're using at school, the touchscreen seems a lot more sensitive, although when I was playing the Bejewelled rip-off there were instances where the screen wasn't responding to me. I also found the on-screen qwerty board a bit too small for my taste, and I'm going to see if the DS stylus will work with the Arc S so that I don't have to keep mistyping things.
Also downloaded some games to put in the phone, but I'm not entirely sure how much time I will be playing on it considering that the phone got hot really fast when I was messing with the Bejewelled rip-off. Moved my music too while I was at it, although I'm still pondering what picture to put as a wall-paper. Also thinking of putting in videos so that I can finally watch some things that have been on the backburner for the longest time because I don't have time to watch them. At least I can judge how long the battery life will last if I keep using the...functions like they ought to be used.
On other news, I have...fallen sick due to exhaustion and am now valiantly trying to recover as fast as possible so that I don't have to take more sick days orzzzzzzz My fever is all gone but the cough is still persisting and that's not good since I need to rely on my voice. So far I've been preserving it by not talking as much but it still feels pretty swollen. Plus, I think the medicine has a tendency to make me kind of drowsy, so we'll...see what's going to happen tomorrow when I go to school.
Gaming-wise, I decided to pick up Radiant Historia and it's been a really good and solid game! I liked the characters and the time-travelling aspect and apart from the grinding thing it's really fun! Now the only problem is that I have to stop myself from getting spoiled since someone on the forums is also doing a Let's Play at the same time.
So, after four years (or more....I think) of using my Nokia XpressMusic, my aunt decided that it's time for me to upgrade into something less embarrassing and dated and offered to get me a new smartphone. I wanted a smartphone that actually has a qwertyboard but isn't a Blackberry since I....don't have much use for business functions and I really, really don't want a touchscreen. Problem is, there are no more qwerty phones left on the market that isn't a Blackberry so my aunt finally convinced me to get an Xperia Arc S.
